Brilliant as usual.
Question: there’s a nationwide college (and now, high school) program called, Roadtrip Nation;” have you heard about it? In a nutshell, after they graduated, a group of college students a number of years ago decided to interview professionals in around the country who had excelled in the fields these recent graduates had studied, to find out if it was what they wanted to pursue. They filmed the entire process, including phone calls prior to planning the trip(s).
That was more than ten years ago. They turned it into a show, which has been syndicated now for ten years on PBS. I was wondering if I might be able to set up an interview with you sometime right after the new year, video the whole thing and use it as an example ro my students at Kearny High School, where I’ve been teaching Digital & Fine Art classes for the past 2-1/2 years. As you may know, the lion’s share of our student population are minority students. I think it would be a really cool interview, especially in light of your (soon-to-be) accomplishment of 365 Black Hero project. Speaking of which, you will be publishing that in some form of hard copy, right?
